The Digital Transformation Center invites teachers, students and collaborators to participate in an exchange on the quality of the hybrid modality within the framework of the face-to-face activities planned in the consultancy on this topic carried out by the Open University of Catalonia (UOC).
Background:
In 2022 UTEC requests a consulting proposal from the UOC to accompany the digital transformation process driven by the University’s Digital Transformation Center, which is to enable it to comply with the guidelines for growth and profound changes envisaged in the University’s 2021-2025 strategic plan.
In December 2022, a service agreement was signed with the aim of regulating the conditions under which the UOC will provide UTEC with the service consisting of a knowledge transfer consultancy with the purpose of advising and providing the UOC’s know-how for the promotion of the digital transformation of its own educational model based on the UOC learning model called “UOC – UTEC Collaboration Proposal. Consultancy -Transfer”.
Scope of the activity:
The strategic reflection on the educational model will shed light on three of the specific objectives detailed in the University’s 2021-2025 strategic plan:
– Optimize the digital learning experience in careers.
– Generate capabilities in the UTEC community in the use of digital educational technologies.
– Integrate the physical and virtual campus, facilitating communication and the use of resources for teachers, students and collaborators.
The face-to-face activities in the ITRs have the purpose of communicating the process and collecting feedback from teachers, students and collaborators in this collaborative process of improvement of the hybrid modality.
– CTD – TAA: presentation of the hybridization process of the careers so far (What has been done).
– UOC: Presentation of status and projection, feedback from the UTEC community (What we are doing and how we continue).
– Milestone: UTEC educational model.
– Milestone: strategic guidelines.
About the UOC:
Since its birth in 1995, the UOC has received and attended institutional requests to support improvement processes and/or development of online formative models or through the use of ICT. With the implementation of the 2017-2020 Strategic Plan, the UOC incorporates advisory and accompaniment actions as a work axis to transfer the UOC model and its experience in favor of the improvement of educational systems around the world.
